Katsufumi Matsui

Katsufumi Matsui is a Ph.D. student at The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies. He was born in 1985 in Yamagata. His works are focused in the areas of sound installation, audiovisual performances, image sonification and new interface for musical expression. His works have been selected for participation in international conferences, such as the ISEA, NIME, ICMC. He has received various awards, such as 2014 Asia Digital Art Award Finalist Prizes, 20th Campus Genius Award BRONZE, the Digital Signage Award 2014 Special Prize and the Good Design Award 2011 in Japan.
